This Sauvignon Blanc comes from vineyards in Oakville, Rutherford, and St. Helena. The variety of growing sites and soils, which are well-drained and gravelly, lends complexity. The Semillon is from St. Helena, grown in soil of well-drained gravel and alluvial-loam.
The deep-rooted vines for this Cabernet Sauvignon are grown on the bench sites and foothill vineyards in the Rutherford AVA. This area is defined by well-drained soils primarily composed of gravel, sand and loam.
Expressive and complex nose of ripe red berries, light spice and hints of undergrowth. Full and very attractive palate with freshness and silky tannins.
Aroma; subtle hints of delicate flowers (rose, peony) harmonized with fruity notes (pear, mirabelle) rounded by almond and acacia honey. A beautiful freshness with a superb finish and long, minty fruit. Taste; the finest white “heritage” ever produced by Ogier.
The flavor of freshly-squeezed Niagara grape juice. Sweet, refreshing and mouth-watering!
Melon, sweet cherry, strawberry and pink grapefruit. This semi-sweet blush goes great with brunch or stands alone for casual sipping.
The wine has a very slight, smoky aroma that integrates beautifully with the delicious roundness of the fruit. There is a hint of cinnamon, sweet plum and a nicely balanced acidity in the lingering finish.
